|We've had a couple of
little snowfalls -- an inch one morning, and three inches another
day. Neither lasted long on the ground, and we've had a pleasant
stretch of late-fall weather -- high 40s or low 50s during the
day -- just enough to get my fast West epoxy to kick. I've been
able to keep doing a lot of little epoxy jobs -- got Cormorant's
upper leeboard guard laminated in place yesterday, and before
that I epoxied in the backer boards for the leeboard pivot, for
instance. I'm very grateful for the mild weather. This time last
year we had snow on the ground that lasted till April.
I'll attach a recent pic of Cormorant
with the cabin roof and deck on. Very exciting. I've even been
online pricing out -- of all things -- slabs of foam to make
seats/mattresses with in the cabin. Now I'm starting to feel
a bit more like Martha Stewart and less like Howard Chapelle.
